INTRODUCTION:
BOOTSCOOTIN’ DEVILS IS A LINE DANCE SOCIAL CLUB BASED AT ULVERSTONE, TASMANIA.
AS A SOCIAL GROUP, WE PUT PROFITS FROM OUR WEEKLY CLASSES AND OUR REGULAR SOCIALS, BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY (MOSTLY LOCAL BUT TO SOME NATIONAL CHARITIES AS WELL).
WE ALSO DONATE OUR TIME BY PERFORMING DEMOSTRATIONS FOR VARIOUS CHARITY, AGED CARE AND CHILDRENS GROUPS, BY HOSTING MORNING TEAS FOR AGED CARE & OTHER NON PROFIT ORGANISATIONS.
WE HAVE NO PAID QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS.
BUT
(THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT)
WHAT WE DO HAVE IS AN EXPERIENCED CORE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DEDICATED TO KEEPING LINE DANCING ALIVE, SIMPLY BECAUSE WE LOVE IT SO MUCH.
OTHER THAN CHARITY WORK, OUR CLUBS MISSION IN LIFE IS TO HAVE FUN AND NOT TAKE OURSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY.

THIS SITE WAS DEVELOPED SO THAT LINE DANCERS COMING TO TASMANIA COULD EASILY FIND OUT THE "WHERE" & "WHEN" OF LINE DANCING IN TASMANIA. NOT ONLY OF MOST OF TASSIES CLUB'S CLASSES BUT ALSO THE POSTED SOCIALS & WORKSHOPS FOR THE YEAR.
HOPEFULLY THIS WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR LINE DANCING ENTHUSIASTS TO PLAN THEIR ITINERARY WHEN TRAVELLING IN TASMANIA.

TERRY TIBBLEBootscootin’ Devils social line dance group : the president- job descritption
The role of the president is very important and the new president will be expected to have a more hands on role.
They must have:
*A sound knowledge of line dancing
*Be able to handle some of the strong personalities we have in our club (& Yes I do include myself in that group)
* Be flexible
* Have a sense of humour
* Be diplomatic
* Be strong enough to undertake disciplinary action if required.
* Break deadlocks in voting
* Bend steel in their bare hands
* Catch a bullet in their bare hands
* Stop a speeding train
* Leap tall buildings in a single bound.
* Fight for truth, justice and the line dancing way
* Wear their undies on the outside
* The only thing to weaken the Pres is Cryptonite OR Achy Breaky Heart

So Terry being Terry, she turned up on her first night as the duly elected PRESIDENT with her undies on the outside.
Congratulations Terry, I hope you do realise what you have let yourself in for.
